Waratah Sports is located on the Central Coast, NSW Australia. We are a dedicated retail cricket, baseball and hockey specialist stocking a complete range of gear to suit all your needs and budget. We are also a major supplier of bulk sporting equipment, teamwear and custom made apparel for several winter sports such as soccer, netball, rugby league & rugby union.

Michael Phillips - Director

Michael and partner Karen purchased the business in September 2006. After spending nine years in the financial services industry, it was decided that it was time for a change. Coming from a strong sporting background, owning and operating a sports equipment and clothing business was a dream come true.  Michael’s passion for sport is extensive having played cricket for 23 years including captaining the Entrance first grade side from 2002 to 2004. Add to this several seasons of water polo, basketball, tennis, rugby and golf and Michael’s commitment to sport and to those who play it is clearly a very high priority.

Combining such a passion for sport and a commitment to providing a high level of ongoing service for clients is the key to the Waratah Sports business,

Brad Howe - General Manager

Brad lives on the Central Coast with his partner Kristy and their two children. Coming from a very strong sporting background, he has been a regular member of The Entrance 1st grade cricket side including being member of the premiership winning sides of 2005 and 2006. Brad has been the backbone of the Waratah Sports team for the past three years. He is an expert in clothing and sets very high standards for quality and service. Brad prides himself seeking out the best solutions for all our clients.

Derek Jackson - Sales Manager

Derek lives on the Central Coast with his wife Rochelle and their two children. After many years in real estate and retail sales environment Derek is a vitally important addition to the Waratah Sports team. Derek has an extensive background in sports here on the coast having played cricket, basketball, golf and baseball.
